Picking up the pace

Putting stuff here more often, aren't I? There're a couple of leftovers from the last time, so let's settle that first:
Mr. Filip (SuzieQ) Andronik has an exhibit of his comic book art in the British council library in Sarajevo. All of you guys that don't have anything smarter to do these couple of days should go, entrance is free. :)
You may have seen another link in my floating sidebar. Charlie McElvy was actually brave enough to spread my ramblings two weeks ago about that Predatory Beasts comic (crazy the way it's going, isn't it?) through the Carnival of Webcomics (about blog carnivals on the link in the other sidebar), so he definitely needs a couple of clicks from all of you. Plus, he has his own webcomic, so be sure to check that out.
In the other news:
Just translating from mcn's blog: there's this guide through the best of webcomics, so check it out - here.
Dicebox (a webcomic I've recommended but left aside myself, unfortunately) is on there, as is a bunch of others I've never heard of. Definitely worth your attention.
Everyone from Croatia who means anything is coming, a couple of legends from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina too... why not you? One of the (if not THE) biggest comic book events in Southeastern Europe is opening on Friday. Wanna check the website? Sure you do...
In the end I have to apologize too all of you that have tried to use that link on co.nr today, the people there have somehow missed my link to their website in the sidebar and put my account on ice for some time. Hence that change of arrangement, now they have TWO links plus one for each of the older posts! Bloody capitalism...

The Cutest Thing

Does it get any cuter??? Anyway, Cute Overload is a beautifuly cutest thingy blog ever ever blog... What can I say, cutest puppies get to me in ways unimaginable to people that don't know me that well... But not to be all cutsie and puppy eyes on you, a bit of WARNING! This post'll have to do with the next award I'll be giving away as soon as I figure out what it'll be...

Here I Am...

Never mind, an old song... To begin with, a brief account of our visit to Washington D.C., a lovely place that by some strange universal accident landed on a wrong continent. :) We didn't get much chance to walk around the City, somewhat because of the rain and also our busy schedule. But we did see (at least from afar) most of the most famous monuments that make this city what it is. We were located in the City Center so we also saw all the old architecture that one wouldn't expect anywhere outside Europe, and also got a tour of a big fortress Americans call State Department. But we got a chance to see a whole lot of Bosnian politicians. I do not want to curse on this blog so I will just skip the general impression I got from our political "elite" and religious leaders. With people like that our country can only go – downhill. I did get a chance to meet a lot of interesting people outside of that group. I made a little mistake, 9 Bosnian students came to that anniver...

Yogalistic

SORE ALL OVER!!! Seriously people, my roommate actually told me this morning I was breathing hard for some reason, and I think it was from exhaustion! But I think my muscles are actually rejoycing at the chance to do some real work after a long time. I think the only other time I felt like this in the past five years was after a two day trip across the mountains around Sarajevo with skiis and a lot of other mountaineering gear. Don't want to spread the story long and wide 'cos most of the stuff I mention you wouldn't have even heard of anyways. Yes, it's Yoga. Before Yoda, today Yoga. I guess I was actually subcontiously considering Yoga lessons when I posted that picture... But anyways, there're a lot of FREE lessons for OleMiss students and teaching staff (heh, when will we see a thing like that in Bosnia???) during the week and I had some extra time yesterday and hence my complaining. We actually did the same excercises as in this small pic, but don't ask me ...
