Dolphin Attack!

DelfinA thought just occured to me: am I too old for comic books? Am I trying to grip to my childhood so tightly that i'm forgetting to grow up???
Nah, just messin' with ya! :D Anyways, I'm readin' much more comics today then I did when I was ten or seven. Dad wouldn't let me do it then... :)
On that note, a new comic added to the sidebar! Pet Professional, after the recommendation of senor Kurtz at the PVP, turned out to be quite entertaining (all the pointless animal killing aside, and since they're not really real it can do no harm... right??? Or maybe little children still shouldn't read it...). I'm sticking to it at least until we see how the Dolphins do in the White House...

What is too old for comic books or anything? Growing old is a physical process, being too old is a mental one. Maybe an excuse even.

We've more responsibility, aches, problems, worries and less time, energy and elasticity.

That simply changes the equation, it does not render us useless.

I feel it is important to read comic books, watch cartoons, or try to think about what happened in the last commercial just to keep us from getting 'too old'.

I share your opinion completely, though I really try not to think what happened in the last commercial. Btw, Americans really have too many commercials ...
Thanks for the contribution!

Here I Am...

Never mind, an old song... To begin with, a brief account of our visit to Washington D.C., a lovely place that by some strange universal accident landed on a wrong continent. :) We didn't get much chance to walk around the City, somewhat because of the rain and also our busy schedule. But we did see (at least from afar) most of the most famous monuments that make this city what it is. We were located in the City Center so we also saw all the old architecture that one wouldn't expect anywhere outside Europe, and also got a tour of a big fortress Americans call State Department. But we got a chance to see a whole lot of Bosnian politicians. I do not want to curse on this blog so I will just skip the general impression I got from our political "elite" and religious leaders. With people like that our country can only go – downhill. I did get a chance to meet a lot of interesting people outside of that group. I made a little mistake, 9 Bosnian students came to that anniver...

Predatory Beasts

Crazy looking thing isn't he? Anyway this is another Web Comic I found and that has me intrigued somewhat on how the story may continue. If you follow this link , you'll find a simply drawn comic (without color, smth. I prefer very much) by Jonathan Allen (another poor student like me, trying to make a living...), about nuclearly induced temporal distortions, couple of "revolutionary" thieves that will just this one night steal 'only' food from a grocery store and a creature that travels the time and space of all the Universes in an instant. Interestingly enough, this immediately reminded me of Narnia and Lewis' depiction of a world created and coordinated by a Lion. Also I immediately loved the weird looking characters (that might be better if drawn bigger) because of their real life-likenes, even though they're supposed to be Dogs, Cats and what-what. One other thing (cos the comic isn't finished and I don't really want to destroy your enjoy...
