Fr'isco Day Two


Beautiful little thing photobucket offers, just beautiful. Anyway, this is the second day of the WonderCon, didn't wonder too much around the City but the convention was interesting. We saw "Superman Returns" and talked with Brian Singer and Brandon Routh, Terry Moore but Frank Cho didn't show up - disliking the Liberty Meadows creator more every day. But who cares as long as he keeps on drawing the way he does.
Also got a V for Vendetta mask. :) I'm gonna take a photo of me in it and post it as soon as I can.

People wanted more photo's... And since I don't exactly know what to write about... Well, here you are... [Klik on d imidzs tu si betr.] My lovely Bosnian sister. :) Sabina, Fullbright Undergrad from Tuzla. First meeting of the Planet Partners in the Grove, what was the date?... Sometime in September. Hence the short pants. From left to right: Hyewon Hwang (Korea), Varun Kumar (India) and Hyejeong Pang (Korea). The Second Planet Partners meeting yesterday, 10/27/2005, we carved those pumpkn headsamericans make for their children, burned some marshmallow over the fire you can see in the first photo, and then danced those ridiculous square dances you can see in movies that show the life on the Wild West or South. Anyway, had a lot of fun. :) The only sign of wildlife in Oxford (apart from a couple of robins and sparrows). There's like a thousand of them on campus and every once in a while students get hit on their heads with nuts. Oh yeah, and there're some different kin

Here I Am...

Never mind, an old song... To begin with, a brief account of our visit to Washington D.C., a lovely place that by some strange universal accident landed on a wrong continent. :) We didn't get much chance to walk around the City, somewhat because of the rain and also our busy schedule. But we did see (at least from afar) most of the most famous monuments that make this city what it is. We were located in the City Center so we also saw all the old architecture that one wouldn't expect anywhere outside Europe, and also got a tour of a big fortress Americans call State Department. But we got a chance to see a whole lot of Bosnian politicians. I do not want to curse on this blog so I will just skip the general impression I got from our political "elite" and religious leaders. With people like that our country can only go – downhill. I did get a chance to meet a lot of interesting people outside of that group.
